Lance Zimmerman is the principal of Zimmerman Architecture, a residential and commercial architectural firm based in Norwalk, Connecticut. He is a registered architect with twenty-three years of experience who has practiced in corporate and small firm settings before opening his own firm sixteen years ago. Mr. Zimmerman has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. He is licensed in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, and is registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Prior to founding his own company, Mr. Zimmerman worked for Bruce Knutson Architecture in Minneapolis. He was also head store designer for Snyder Drug Store Corporation in Minneapolis. His East Coast experience includes work for Junger Architects and Michael Blanc & Associates of Stamford, Connecticut. He then served as a senior project architect for O’Brien Architecture in Chappaqua, New York.
Mr. Zimmerman works directly with residential and commercial clients in all states of design, construction documentation, and construction observation. In addition to this excellent design and project management skills, clients benefit from Mr. Zimmeman’s ability to tune into his clients wants and needs and incorporate these into his designs. He has relationships with a number of contractors who rely on him for his high quality, rapid turnaround.
